Basically, what Paleo Diet suggests is that you eat only real food. Fish, vegetables, fruits, meat, seeds, healthy oils is what needs to be found on your plate. Avoid everything else. The Paleo Diet is not based on calorie counting. The point is to eat when you feel hungry.

However, the Paleo Diet can be demanding, especially if you find yourself in a restaurant, you constantly travel, or your family members have different eating habits. This is a highly effective diet, if you are committed to a new way of feeding yourself.

The Paleo Diet is a great choice if you are determined to lose weight for a very short time, or you want to decrease your BMI. The willingness to give up many foods is what you are going to need.

What is the best option?

The best diet is the one that works for you. Also, you need to show willingness and determination when it comes to your changed eating routine.

Regardless of a diet you choose, whether it is taking care of daily calorie intake, paleo diet, glycemic index/load, vegan, vegetarian or something we have not even mentioned here, sticking to the diet is the most important thing, if you want to see great results. I suggest you to go step by step. Learn how your body functions, take care of your portions, and then motivate yourself to start with changing your eating habits.

Losing weight and being healthy is your aim?- The glycemic load eating concept is for you. Give up on food from which your insulin goes up, avoid junk food, and consume real food.

Decide how dedicated you can be, and according to that, plan other steps. Before you get down to any above-mentioned diets, I suggest you to try to change your eating habits for 30 days, and see how it works.

Make it work

“You are going to have fun.

“Do the best you can, with what you have, where you are.”

These two sentences and the Paleo Diet refer to the core of my diet philosophy. Around 80% of my meals are Paleo food, I am trying to keep to my diet even when I travel, and that is quite often, and the rest of the time I simply eat what I want to eat. My meals can be 100% Paleo three days in a row, and then two days I eat pizza and drink beer.

I found what works for me, and a few days of eating junk food does not influence me.

Sometimes, I do eat food that makes me happy. I allow myself to enjoy, but I quickly come back to the Paleo stuff.

The point being..Give your best and enjoy! Start with small changes, they will gradually become routine. Stop blaming yourself for unhealthy eating. Just continue there where you took a break and everything will be just fine.

 Start immediately. Give up on junk food. Remove anything that is harmful for your diet. Throw away all candies, biscuits and similar stuff. The sooner you start, the better. There is a possibility to fail, but do not give up until you discover what your solution is.
